My Intentions; Midgard and other works
Anselm Kiefer is one of the most highly recognizable figures of the neo expressionist movement of the twentieth century. His body of work is extremely diverse in it's utilization of various materials ranging from paint and raw lead, to acres of land. While his entire body of work to date is extremely compelling, for the purposes of this research assignment, I will focus on his landscape paintings and mixed media works of the 1970's and 1980's.
